Jasiya "Jojo" Green is the 14-year old award-winning host of Jojo's PersonaliTV and the CEO of BeYou+T, a vegan lip gloss line to empower girls to shine from within.
Jasiya released her YouTube channel and her first show, Can I Cook It, on her 9th birthday in July of 2013. Since then she has added over 50 recorded shows on her YouTube channel and is now on the road to reaching her goal of 100 shows! She has interviewed some amazing people such as actress/comedian Kim Coles, the US Ambassador to Zimbabwe, The Honorable Harry Thomas, South Carolina’s Senator, Mia McLeod, who is the first African-American and the first woman to be elected to Senate District 22, and child super model, Celai West.
Besides the fact that Jojo is such a "talker" and loves to use the camera, Jojo's PersonaliTV was created to be able to show kids that you have to set goals and think about your future while you are young. High School dropout is a major issue in America. Dosomething.org reports that every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States alone. That’s a student every 26 seconds – or 7,000 a day. "We want to do our part to make sure that kids realize that having goals for your future will help you graduate high school and have plans after high school to either: go to college, go straight into the workforce, start your own business and/or serve in the military,” states Jasiya. She also likes to highlight kids who are in action and doing just that, NOW, through her Kids In Action and Teens In Action shows!
Jasiya is the 2017 Woman to Woman Entrepreneurial Association's Young Woman Making A Difference in the Midlands Award Winner, 2016 Girls World Expo Merit Award Winner, and the 2015 recipient of Richland County School District 2 Future Chef Grand Prize Winner.
Jasiya recently launched her very own vegan lip gloss line, BeYou+T, in order to scale her brand while also empowering girls to shine from within.
